Acadian treated Spinach, var. Unipack 12, grown in optimal conditions had a 21 % higher antioxidant content, 50 % more flavonoids and 14 % more Fe+ chelating activity compared to the untreated control plants. The dose of 1 g/L had most effect, these results are given.
