Increased produce quality
Acadian Liquid Seaweed Concentrate treated Grapes, cv. Thompson Seedless, had on average a 17.3 % higher yield (ton/ha), 14.2 % less berries per bunch, 17.4 % heavier berries and a 0.2 % lower Brix% as compared to the untreated control. The treatment with a concentration of 2.34 l/ha and an extra pre-bud break treatment gave the highest yield and heaviest berries.
