'Bilicious', under non-limiting phosphorous (P) conditions, showed no significant difference in leaf area, no difference in total root length, no difference in fresh weight of shoot, no difference in dry weight of shoot, no difference in percentage water content (PWC) of shoot, no difference in fresh weight of root, no difference in dry weight of root, no difference in PWC of root, no difference in nitrogen (N), no difference in phosphorous (P), no difference in potassium (K), no difference in calcium (Ca), no difference in magnesium (Mg), no difference in sodium (Na), increased iron (Fe) (+17%), increased boron (B) (+42%), increased manganese (Mn) (+8%), no difference in zinc (Zn), no difference in copper (Cu), no difference in chlorophyll a, no difference in chlorophyll b, no difference in carotenoids, no difference in anthocyanins, no difference in membrane leakage, no difference in membrane stability index, no difference in MDA content, no difference in 02 content, no difference in H20 content, no difference in total soluble sugar, increased total amino acids, no difference in total phenolic content and no difference in total flavonoid content, compared to untreated control plants. Furthermore, biostimulant application significantly regulated the Expression of Genes Involved in P homeostasis, carbohydrate metabolism, lipid metabolism and secondary metabolism in Z. mays Grown Under P-limited Conditions.
