Effect
Increased produce quality
Increased nutrient availability in soil or substrate
Actiwave treated Apple trees, cv. Fuji, grown in a orchard without addition of a NPK fertilizer had a 15 % higher shoot growth, 12 % more chlorophyll and decreased oscillations between the 'on' and 'off' years in alternate bearing (unthinned) trees with a higher fruit yield in the 'off' year and increased average fruit weight in the 'on' year (37 %) compared to the untreated control.
