Aegis Micro-granule

Type: Bacteria, Company: Italpollina

Effect

Increased other

Aegis Micro-granule treated Zucchini, cv. Tempra, grown with 3 different nutrient solutions with different pH and Al levels had on average a 19.5 % higher total yield, a 19.1 % higher marketable yield, a 28.2 % higher non-marketable yield, the same mean fruit weight, 18.1 % more fruits, 17.6 % more leaf dry weight, 11.6 % more stem dry weight, 30.5 % more fruit dry weight, 26.4 % more root dry weight, fruits contained 9.3 % more dry matter, 9.3 % more total soluble solids, a 1.3 % higher titratable acidity, contained more N (+8.4%), P (+12.1%), K (+2.7%), Mg (+9%), Fe (+19.6%), Zn (+10.3%), Mn (+6.3%) and more B (+8.8%) and less Ca (1.3%), Al (-1.6%) and less Cu (-6%), leaves had a 9.5 % bigger leaf area and contained 4.7 % more chlorophyll compared to the untreated control. Aegis Micro-granule had most effect at a pH  of 3.5 combined with Al.
