Increased nutrient availability in soil or substrate

AgBio-Endos treated maize, c.v. Viking had increased mycorrhizal colonisation when harvested 4 weeks after planting but not when harvested at 2 or 8 weeks compared to untreated controls. Treated plants showed no changes in foliar phosphorous concentration. An increase in shoot dry weight at applications of and above 60.0g/L was observed but no effect at lower application rates, compared to untreated controls. Treated plots showed an increase in extractable soil phosphorous at applications of and above 15.0g/L but no effect at lower application rates, compared to untreated controls.
