APR treated Maize, inbred line B73, grown hydroponically in a growth chamber under optimal conditions had after 3 days significant longer roots (only with 5 % dose), the same root weight and the same shoot weight compared to the untreated control. APR treated Maize, inbred line B73, grown in hydroponically in a growth chamber under hypoxia, salt or nutrient stress conditions had significant longer roots, the same root weight and the same shoot weight compared to the untreated controls grown under the same stress conditions.
