Effect
Increased produce quality
Auxym treated baby Lettuce, cv. Zarina, grown under different N rates had on average a higher yield (only significant at the lowest N rate), a higher LAI (only significant at 0 and 10 N), a 5.4 % higher specific leaf weight, leaves had a 20.5 % significant higher succulence and contained 31.5 % significant more nitrates, 15.4 % significant more chlorophyll and 9.3 % more carotenoids compared to the untreated control. There wasn't an interaction effect between the biostimulant and the N rate for all the leaf parameters.
