Bio-F17 treated lettuce (application to nutrient solution), cv. 'Aleppo', outdoor grown on a DFT (Deep Flow technique) system with reduced nitrogen occasionally showed significant differences in comparison to untreated control grown in the same conditions: analysis of the harvested crop showed a significantly higher sodium and manganese concentration per kg dry matter.
