Type: Data not available, Company: Stoller

Effect

Increased other
No effect on nutrient availability in soil or substrate

Bio Forge treated maize seeds cv. “Butterfly” had significantly improved germination at 100 and 500 ml per 100 kg, significantly more uniform germination at doses of 100 and 300 ml per 25 kg,  sig. longer roots and shoots at 48 and 72 h post latency. At 6 days post germination all doses sig. increased the length of the areal parts  which was not observed at 12 or 21 day post germination.  Foliar and root fresh and dry weight was only increased in 300 ml per 25 kg dose.  Bio Forge seed treatment had no effect on chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b or carotenoid content and no effect on concentration of Na, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Cu, Mn, Zn.
