Effect
Decreased drought stress tolerance
Decreased produce quality
BioAtlantis treated Surfinia, cv. Surfinia White, grown in peat-based substrate in drought stress conditions had 23 % less branches (sign), 13 % shorter branches (sign), 11 % more flowers, 32 % less fresh weight (sign), 20 % less dry weight (sign), 18 % less root development, a 1.1 % lower chlorophyll-index, a 10 % higher flavonol-index, a 0.3 % lower anthocyanin-index and a 18.8 % lower stomatal conductance compared to the untreated control grown in the same drought stress conditions.
