BioF11 treated Lettuce, var. ondatra, grown in the soil under a semi-open polyethylene tunnel had a higher fresh shoot biomass on the first harvesting day, had no difference in the chlorophyll (-0.7%), flavonol and athocyanin (-1.5%) content, NUE (nutrient use efficiency), and leaves nitrates content and had a lower WUE (water use efficiency) compared to the untreated control.
