Chito Plant treated Strawberry, cv. Alba/Romina, grown in a polytunnel on the field had after 4 days of shelf-life on average 17.5 % less decay incidence, a 15.9 % lower decay severity, a 29 % lower infection index and the same fruit quality in terms of colour and firmness as compared to the untreated control.
