Chito Plant treated Strawberry, cv. Camarosa, stored for 7 days and exposed to 3 days shelf-life showed a 53.2 % lower decay %, a 23.9 % lower disease severity index and a 64.4 % lower McKinney index caused by Gray mold (Botrytis cinerea (Pers.)) and a 79.2 % lower decay %, a 25 % lower disease severity index and a 84.4 % lower McKinney index caused by Rhizopus rot (Rhizopus stolonifer (Ehrenb.)) compared to the untreated control.
