Crop Set treated Red oak grown in usual conditions had on average a 13.9 % larger girth, 4.3 % more leaf dry weight, 23.8 % more shoot dry weight, 18.9 % longer roots, 44.2 % more root dry weight, a 35.7% larger root area and 25.5 % more chlorophyll compared to the untreated control. (Numbers are averages of different application methods and harvest moments (8 and 20 weeks after treatment); differences not always significant)
