Penn A-1, grown in a field or controlled environment (greenhouse and growth chamber) didn't have a significant lower etiolation rate (on average -3.3 % on the field and -22.3 % in controlled environment) caused by Acidovorax avenae and Xanthomonas translucens and didn't have a better quality (+0.4%) compared to the untreated control
