Increased produce quality
Ergostim treated Papaya, cv. Sunrise, grown in a field had a significant higher yield with more fruits per hectare as compared to the untreated control. The increase in yield depended on the length of the application intervals with an increase of 0.2% (not sign), 4% (not sign), 6.9%, 13.5% and 18.5% in yield along with a shortening of the intervals from 180, 90, 60, 45 till 30 days.
