Effect
No effect on produce quality
No effect on phosphorous P use efficiency
ESSENTIAL treated Blue Vantage Cabbage grown in a very P rich soil with extra P fertilisation didn't have a significant higher yield (-2.5 % head yield and 10.3 % less ton/acre) or significant differences in leaf nutrient concentrations (-1.3 % less P in leaves) compared to the untreated control plants. ESSENTIAL treated Blue Vantage Cabbage grown in the same soil without extra P fertilisation didn't have a significant higher yield (+5.8 % head yield and +1.6 % more ton/acre) or significant differences in leaf nutrient concentrations (+3.5 % more P in leaves) compared to the untreated control grown in the same conditions. The highest dose had most effect.
