Globalga (available in Italy) treated Apple, cv. Gala Must, grown in an orchard had 4 % less N, 5.1 % more P, 20.9 % more K, 6.5 % more Ca (sign) and 5.6 % less Mg in leaves, had a 8.1 % bigger fruit diameter (sign), fruits were 23.8 % heavier (sign), contained 1.9 % more dry matter, the same amount of vitamine C and total sugars, were 8.3 % less acid, contained 4.6 % less flavonoids and 5.7 % more phenolic compounds (sign) compared to the untreated control.
