Increased salt stress tolerance
Glomygel Garden treated Carnation, cv. Kazan, grown under 3 different levels of salt in the irrigation water had less negative effects of salt stress on the ornamental value (plant growth, number of flowers, leaf and flower color and flower size) due to increased content of N, P and Ca and reduced contents of Na and Cl compared to the untreated control. Glomygel Garden gave best results at moderate salt levels.
