Green Forge treated Pink Lady Rosy Glow apple trees showed no significant effect compared to untreated control concerning the fruit quality at both harvests (sugar rate, firmness, acidity, juiciness and starch regression) and the fruit colouring intensity. The lack of improvement of the fruit colouring was because of the particularly favourable year for the fruit colour, which is rare.  No statistical difference was observed in the total yield and the average fruit weight. Treated trees had 22% less fallen fruits in total than the untreated control, but the difference was not stat. significant. The release of ethylene and CO2 during the storage was comparable to untreated control.
