No effect on produce quality
Humifirst treated Birch grown in a root elongation medium had on average the same rooting percentage, 5.4 % more roots, a 19.1 % lower density of lateral roots and 13.8 % longer shoots compared to the untreated control. The highest dose had a significant effect on the density of lateral roots (- 23.8 %) and on the length of shoots (+ 20.7 %).
