Hydro Gold Super treated Lily, cv. Brindisi, grown in a greenhouse had on average a 7.2 % shorter crop cycle, were 0.7 % taller (not sign), had 3.8 % less leaves (not sign), had a 26.5 % bigger leaf area with 8.2 % more chlorophyll, 11.4 % less flower buds (not sign), a 8.5 % bigger bud diameter, 26.5 % longer roots, 5.6 % less stem fresh (not sign) and 18.4 % more stem dry weight, 22.5 % more leaf fresh and 27 % more leaf dry weight, 6.5 % more buds fresh (not sign) and 20.6 % more buds dry weight, 13.2 % more bulb fresh (not sign) and 31 % more bulb dry weight, 60.3 % more bulb roots fresh and 151.3 % more bulb roots dry weight and 64.8 % more stem roots fresh and 175.6 % more stem roots fresh dry weight as compared to the untreated control. (for some parameters the foliar application gave better results, for other parameters the results were the same for both application methods)
