Kelpak treated Autumn pineapple lily grown in hydroponic system had on average the same leaf number (ns), 3.4 % longer leaves (ns), a 2.4 % smaller leaf area (ns), 4 % shorter roots (ns), 9.7 % longer roots (ns), a 4.3 % bigger bulb diameter (ns) and 5.7 % more fresh weight (ns) compared to the untreated control. The 5 % treatment gave in general the best result, with a 15.6 % significant bigger bulb diameter compared to te untreated control.
