Kelpak treated Maize, cv. Boruta, germinated in the lab had 8 days after seed soaking on average a 17.1 % higher seed germination percentage. Kelpak treated Maize, cv. Boruta, grown in a greenhouse had on average a 28.1 % heavier shoot, 41.8 % heavier roots and 12 % more chlorophyll as compared to the untreated control. (2 foliar applications gave the best results; the best dose depends on the application method: in general the highest dose gave the best results)
