Effect
Increased produce quality
Kelpak treated baby Lettuce, cv. Zarina, grown under different N rates had on average a significant higher yield, a significant higher LAI, a 13 % lower specific leaf weight, leaves had a 7.8 % significant higher succulence and contained 32.7 % significant more nitrates, 3.7 % more chlorophyll and 16.8 % significant more carotenoids compared to the untreated control. There wasn't an interaction effect between the biostimulant and the N rate, when a result was significant it was the case for every N rate.
