Kelpak

Type: Seaweed extract, Company: Kelp Products

Effect

Increased produce quality

Kelpak treated Mungbean at pH 4.5, showed significantly increased rooting at: 2 % Kelpak and 0 mg/L Ca2+ water hardness (+296.7 %); 20 % Kelpak and 200 mg/L Ca2+ (+185.7 %) and 20 % Kelpak and 400 mg/L Ca2+ (+ 418.5 %) compared to plants treated with 0 % Kelpak at the respective pH and water hardness. Kelpak treated Mungbean at pH 6.5, showed significantly increased rooting at: 20 %  Kelpak and 0 mg/L Ca2+ (+ 165 %) and 2 % Kelpak and 200 mg/L Ca2+ (+ 62%) compared to plants treated with 0 % Kelpak at the respective pH and water hardness. Kelpak treated Mungbean at pH 8.5, showed significantly increased rooting at: 2 % Kelpak and 200mg/L Ca2+ (+ 62 %) and 2 % Kelpak and 400mg/L Ca2+ (+34 %) compared to plants treated with 0 % Kelpak at the respective pH and water hardness.
