Effect
Increased produce quality
Kelpak treated Perennial ryegrass, cvs. Diament and Gagat, showed significantly increased monosaccharide content (+36.2%), decreased cellulose content (-6.2%), decreased hemicellulose content (-8.4%), decreased lignin content (-8%) and increased non-structural carbohydrate content (+9.8%), averaged across 0, 50, 100 and 150 kg/ha nitrogen (N) application rates and averaged across three growing seasons and three cuts, compared to untreated control plants. Varying effect on parameters across different N doses.
