Kelpak treated Hydrangea, cv. Phantom, grown in a peat-based substrate in drought stress conditions had 1% shorter branches, 9 % less branches, 3 % less fresh weight, 2 % less dry weight, a 3 % better root development, a 7.3 %higher chlorophyll-index, a 27 % lower flavonol-index, a 29.4 % lower anthocyanin-index and a 18 % higher stomatal conductance compared to the untreated control grown in the same conditions. No significant effects.
