Kelpak treated Hydrangea, cv. Phantom, grown in a peat-based substrate in reduced nitrogen conditions had 5 % longer branches, 1 % more branchesk, 14 % more fresh weight, 16 % more dry weight, 11 % better root development, a 2 % higher chlorophyll-index, a 7.4 % higher flavonol-index and a 70.1 % higher anthocyanin-index compared to the untreated control grown in the same conditions. No significant effects.
