Kelpak treated Tomato, cv. Sir Elyan, grown in a greenhouse had a 14 % higher early yield and a 6.6 % higher marketable yield with no heavier fruits but with 5.5% more fruits/plant. The fruits had 11.6% more Ca, but didn't have significant more dry matter (-10.7%), total soluble solids (-1.7%), no significant higher pH (+1%), no significant more total phenolics (+9.5%), total ascorbic acid (+38.1%), K (+0.7%), Mg (-19.3%), N (+12.6%), P (-3%), S (+8.4%) or Na (-4.8%) as compared to the untreated control
