Kelpak SL treated bean, c.v. Aura, grown in optimal conditions had on average 39.1 % more bean seeds, 44.3 % heavier bean seeds, 36.7 % more pods and a 3.4 % higher weight of 1000 seeds compared with untreated control. The highest number and weight of seeds and number of pods were obtained in the one time application of 0.2% and 0.4% Kelpak SL compared to two time application.
