Kelpak SL treated Buckwheat sprouts, cv. 'Panda' and 'Kora', showed on average significantly increased dry matter (+0.5 %), no difference in crude ash (+3 %), increased crude protein (+3%), no difference in crude fat (+2.5 %), no difference in total carbohydrates (-1.8 %), no difference in crude fibre (-0.8 %), no difference in neutral detergent fibre (-1.8 %), no difference in acid detergent fibre (-0.5 %), no difference in acid detergent lignin, no difference in hemicellulose (-5.9 %) and no difference in cellulose (-0.1 %), compared to untreated control plants.
