Penn A-1, grown in a field or controlled environment (greenhouse and growth chamber) didn't have a significant lower etiolation rate (on average + 11.6 % on the field and -17.3% in controlled environment) caused by Acidovorax avenae and Xanthomonas translucens and didnt't have a better quality (+0.9%) compared to the untreated control.
