Effect
Increased heat stress tolerance
Macro-Sorb Foliar treated Perennial Ryegrass, cv. Commander/Edge/Citation, grown in heat stress conditions (36 °C) had a 5.1 % higher photochemical efficiency (sign), less polyphenols and significant less leaf electrolyte leakage compared to the untreated control. Macro-Sorb Foliar didn't have significant effects on the perennial ryegrass placed under optimal conditions and mild heat stress (28 °C) conditions.
