Penn A-1/Penn A-4/Penn G-6, grown in a golf green had a 6.4 % lower visual turf grass quality, a 10.5 % lower turf color score, a 8.7 % lower tiller density, 7.3 % more winter injury, 2.1 % less plant coverage, 50 % more plot area infected by diseases, a 1.5 % higher soil pH, soil contained 20 % less P, 14 % more K, 7.1 % more Mg, 9.8 % more Ca and 18 % less Na compared to the control treated with a mineral fertilizer (Arena).
