Increased heat stress tolerance
Mëgfol treated Cowpea, cv. El-Balady, grown in a field in late summer had on average 24.63 % more plant dry weight, 27.9 % higher N% in leaves, 8 % higher P% in leaves, 12.2 % higher K% in leaves, 12.8 % higher Ca% in leaves and had a 30.8 % bigger seed yield as compared to the untreated control plants. (All differences were significant)
