NPKelp treated Mung bean showed reduced or no difference in (0.5%) germination rate, significantly increased or decreased (0.5%)  shoot length, decreased (0.12%); no difference in (0.5%) or significantly increased root length, decreased (0.25%); no difference in (0.06%) or significantly increased total length increase, no difference in (0.25%) or significantly increased fresh weight and no difference in or significantly increased dry weight (0.06%), compared to untreated control plants. The concentration of 0.06 % was most promising.
