Increased drought stress tolerance
Nutricin treated Azalea, cv. H. Vogel, grown in drought and nutrient stress showed a non significant decrease in average plant diameter, a non significant increase in average plant height, a significant lower number of unwanted bypass shoots and a non significant higher dry weight as compared to the untreated control grown in the same conditions. Nutricin treated Azalea, cv. H. Vogel with water and fertiliser stress resulted in 40.8% less unwanted lateral shoots. (Bio4safe Project)
