Phylgreen treated Surfinia, cv. Surfinia White, grown in a peat-based substrate in drought stress conditions had 17 % less branches (sign), 4 % shorter branches, 13 % more flowers, 19 % less fresh weight, 16 % less dry weight, 12 % less root development, a 4.2 % higher chlorophyll-index, the same flavonol-index, a 2.5 % lower anthocyanin-index and 9.9 % lower stomatal conductance compared to the untreated control grown in the same conditions.
