Ercolini, grown in an orchard, had no difference in fruit weight (-0.9%), in fruit gauge (-0.2 %), had an increased medium caliber (+9.5%), had no difference in soluble solid content °Brix (-3.2 %), acidity (-10%), fruit hardness (-6.1%), total weight/tree (+23.2%), number of fruits/tree (+23.2%), average fruit weight (-0.9%) compared to the untreated control grown in te same conditions.
