Effect
Increased heat stress tolerance
Quantis treated potato, cv. Maris piper, grown in a greenhouse under heat stress conditions had a significant higher photosystem II (PSII) maximum efficiency 12, 24 and 48 h after treatment, a significant higher quantum yield of PSII 24 h after treatment, had significant more non-photochemical quenching 12 and 24 h after treatment, no significant difference in conductance and photosynthesis, a significant higher potato tuber weight, significant more bigger tubers compared to the untreated control grown.
