Increased produce quality
Radifarm treated Begonia plants, cv. Link et Otto, grown under organic practices had on average 61.6 % more root fresh and 51.3 % more root dry weight, 29.4 % above-ground fresh and 17.2 % more above-ground dry weight, had 21.7 % more leaves, 25.5 % more flowers, were 16.2 % taller, roots contained more N (+10.6%; ns), P (+48.9%; ns), K (+14.6%), Ca (+5.5%; ns) and less Mg (-5%; ns), above ground parts contained more N (+18.5%), K (+25.2%), Ca (+4.1%) and less P (-24.5%; ns) and less Mg (-13.5%) compared to the untreated control.
