Increased drought stress tolerance
SeaMelPure treated tomatoes, cv Paola, grown in soil under drought stress conditions (reduction of 40% irrigation compared with control) exhibited only a 9% yield reduction compared to control and had 3% more yield than control stressed plants. Fruit caliber was reduced as for the drought stress treatment : - 11%.
