SeaMelPure treated Lettuce, var. ondatra , grown in the soil under a semi-open polyethylene tunnel had a 11 % higher fresh shoot biomass on the first harvesting day, had no difference in the chlorophyll (+1%), flavonol (+1%) and anthocyanin content, NUE (nutrient use efficiency) and leaves nitrate content, and had a lower WUE (water use efficiency) compared to the untreated control.
