SeaMelPure treated Surfinia, cv. Surfinia White, grown in a peat-based substrate in reduced nitrogen conditions had 3 % less branches, 1 % shorter branches, 31 % more flowers, 1 % more fresh weight, 4 % more dry weight, a 13 % better root development, a 16.4 % lower chlorophyll-index, a 4.2 % higher flavonol-index and a 13.6 % lower anthocyanin-index compared to the untreated control grown in the same conditions. No significant effects.
