SeaMelPure treated Hydrangea, cv. Phantom, grown in a peat-based substrate in reduced water and nitrogen conditions had 6.2 % shorter branches, 11.7 % less branches, 9.4 % less fresh weight, 11 % less dry weight, 4.8 % less root development, a 5 % higher chlorophyll-index, a 7.2 % lower flavonol-index, a 7.2 % lower anthocyanin-index and a 20.2 % lower stomatal conductance (only determined at -40 % reductions) compared to the untreated control grown in the same conditions.
