Seasol Commercial treated Broccoli, cv. Marathon, grown in a greenhouse had on average 4 % more seedling emergence % after 3 days, 11.5 % more emergence after 4 days and 2.7 % more emergence after 5 days, the 6 weeks old seedlings had on average a 8.3 % bigger shoot and 19.5 % longer roots and 14 weeks old plants had on average a 50 % larger leaf area, a 52.5% thicker stem and 110.5 % greater biomass as compared to the untreated control (in general the 1 % dose gave the best results)
