Effect
No effect on cold stress tolerance
Siapton treated Strawberry transplants, cv. Diamante, grown in a tunnel with 5 nights at -6°C just after transplanting had after 60 days 41.9 % more dry weight of new roots/total roots, 60.9 % more flowering, a 3.1 % lower survival rate and a 32 % higher accumulated fruit weight compared to the untreated control. Results weren't significant.
