Rhea, grown under periodic drought stress had no difference in stomatal conductance and no difference in number of wilted plants during drought, no difference in plant diameter, no difference in plant height, a no significant decrease in number of flowers, a no significant increase in fresh weight, a no significant increase in dry weight and no difference in root development score compared to the untreated stress control.
